Hey Tweedistas! Are you in Cascadia and itching to go on a Tweed Ride before Portland’s event on Sunday April 9th? You are in luck! Our friends up at the Boneshaker Society are brewing up their Dandy Daffodil Tweed Ride! It will be happening on Saturday March 18 in La Conner, Washington! (Don’t know where La Conner is? It’s on the way to the San Juans, about midway between Vancouver BC and Seattle. It’s also a location in the novel Even Cowgirls Get The Blues.)
It looks like a full day of fun, including a picnic and afterparty. There is a nominal registration fee, but there’s wine tasting! And it’ll be a great time to check out the farm fields of the Skagit Valley when the daffodils are in bloom (before the famous tulips!)
Can’t make it then? They’ll be having two more events through the year: A Seersucker Social in July and a Flannel Frolic in September.
