Portland Tweed Ride 2020 is CANCELLED

Hello friends of Tweed, here is the bad news you probably were expecting: With a heavy heart, we have decided to cancel this year’s Portland Tweed Ride originally scheduled for Saturday April 4. With the uncertainty of things due to COVID-19 and the need to maintain social distance, this would not be a good time for a Tweed Ride.

And we aren’t alone: The Dandy Daffodil Ride in La Conner, Washington that was supposed to happen this past weekend has also been cancelled. We are waiting to see what will happen with the Corvallis and Albany (Ore.) Tweed Rides, which are scheduled for late April and early May, respectively.

These are tough, uncertain times we are heading into. I encourage all of you to keep your head up. We hope to be back in summer with a Seersucker Social, details to come.

We also still have some postcards for this year’s cancelled event. If you are interested in grabbing one as a memento, please get in touch.

Be safe out there.
